Which Injectables Address Wrinkles?

Injectables are a popular and effective way to reduce the signs of aging and improve the overall appearance of your skin. Depending on your individual needs, there are a variety of injectables available to choose from. BOTOX®, Dysport®, and  Jeuveau® are all neuromodulators that are used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.

BOTOX®, Dysport®, and  Jeuveau® are neuromodulator injections used to treat the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. When injected into the skin, these substances work by temporarily blocking nerve signals from reaching the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles.

The result is a smoother skin surface that can make you look years younger. These injections can be used to target specific areas of the face such as around the eyes, on the forehead and between the brows for wrinkles, or around the mouth for lines.

Botox® vs Dysport® vs Jeuveau®: What's The Difference Between The Three?

BOTOX® vs Dysport® vs Jeuveau® is a common comparison when considering treatments to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. All three treatments are neuromodulators, which are injected into the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The main difference between BOTOX®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® lies in their active ingredient, which dictates how quickly they take effect and how long they last. In general, BOTOX® takes two to four days to take effect while Dysport® works more quickly, taking between one and three days to take effect and Jeuveau® takes between two to three days to take effect. Additionally, BOTOX® tends to last longer than Dysport® which typically lasts around three months compared to six months for BOTOX® and around four to six months for Jeuveau®. While all three treatments can be used on areas such as crow’s feet and forehead creases, some people also prefer one over the other based on their unique needs and desired results. Ultimately, whether you choose BOTOX® or Dysport® or Jeuveau® for wrinkle reduction depends on your individual goals and preferences.
